GEAR UP TO GIVE! It’s Operation Christmas Child time!
Happy September! Thanks to everyone who's been praying for Operation Christmas Child and donating items or money for this mission. We're off to a strong start this year! September's focus for donations will be "Wow" items. "Wow" items can be a small backpack or purse, doll, soccer ball and pump, stuffed animal, jewelry making or hobby kit or large toy. Just remember that any item must be able to fit into a shoebox. All donations must be new and unused. We're not able to send any scary or war related toys such as toy guns or any other military type toys. We also continue to need monetary donations for shipping and for the "Shoe that Grows". These shoes will serve as the "Wow" item that will go into several of the boxes we pack at the November packing party. FISH FRY FUNDRAISER for Hope High School - Winona
Friday, September 11 from 4:30 - 7:00 pm
$14 at the door; $12 in advance (Watch for information on how to purchase your advance tickets.) All dinners include: batter fried fish or chicken strips, baked potato or French fries, coleslaw, dinner roll and dessert (with a free-will donation). Extra fish $3 a piece. Dine in or Carry-out!
WELCOME BACK SUNDAY!

Brunch (egg bakes, pastries, etc.) begins at 10:30 am! Games for all ages and inflatables from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm with Root Beer Floats from noon to 2:00 pm! Bring your family and friends!
FEELING CRAFTY?
Tuesday, September 22 at 6:00 pm at Shepherd of the HillsGet creative with your friends while making decorative Fall themed wooden blocks and fuzzy sock pumpkins. Visit The Welcome Center to sign up and to see an image of what the crafts look like. $10 covers the cost of both crafts per person.

CHECK OUT WHAT'S NEW AT OUR LIBRARY
Grab a book, make yourself a cup of coffee and relax in front of the fireplace with a good book from our library. Or, check out something from the library to take home. Simply fill out the library card attached to the book, puzzle, DVD, etc. and place in the black library card box located on the stacks. Please make use of these of these amenities. We are so blessed to have such wonderful gifts.
